Everyone needs a little more romance!

Week two already.  How time does fly!  I visited Salon.com since it's the only book website I was unfamiliar with.  I already subscribe to Goodreads and EarlyWord and they show up in my email.  I read an interesting review of Paleofantasy: What Evolution Really Tells Us About Sex, Diet, and How We Live by Marlene Zuk.  The book more or less debunked the current Paleo Diet craze which certainly makes me happy since I'm a person that loves bread.  Give me those carbs!

The Genre website I chose was heroesandheartbreakers.com since I have no interest in romance what so ever.  I figured it would force me to explore them more since it is something that I wouldn't willingly do on my own.  The covers alone make me cringe.  Where do they find the models for those covers? Who are these perfect people? And those cowboys! And heaving bosoms.  Well I could go on.  And on.

I've been reading LOTS of legal thrillers. So many that I can practically hang out my shingle. Thank goodness Genre Bootcamp is almost here and I can read other things that I want to read. Enough for now, the information desk calls me.
